The same thing can be said about carburetted engines
They still have a big enough cult following to where certain people will know how to service them, you’ll just have to pay the price.
A Cosmo is probably comparable to in available service knowledge to a rare pre-war car.

Keep it oiled and give it an Italian tuneup everytime you drive it. Lose compression, replace motor, repeat.
